Grilled Pizza Sandwiches

8 slices of bread
8 pieces of part skim mozzarella cheese (I used shredded; worked great!)
4 tsp. Parmesan cheese
4 dashes of garlic salt
24 slices of pepperoni
pizza sauce

Butter bread, one side each piece. Place one slice of bread on skillet (or griddle) butter side down.

6 slices of pepperoni (use 9 if you like pepperoni more than the average bear)
tsp. of Parmesan cheese
dash of garlic salt
top with second slice of bread butter side up

Flip sandwich and cook until bread is slightly browned and cheese is melted. Serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping. Makes 4 servings.

Another great recipe I grabbed from Nicole at

This makes me smile! Thanks for posting that you tried it. I'm so glad you did and that you guys loved them.

They are definitely one of my go-to meals and I stock pepperoni so we can do it anytime. Yum!

Yum! We make something similar to this expect we put ours in a sandwich maker which makes it sorta like a homemade pizza pocket! Great recipe!!
